Luna Porcu HATES YOUR FACE

This did not turn out how I wanted.

First of all, the facial expression is from a frame from FLCL. Craziest face evar. 'Cept I thought it looked more disgusted than angry, which was what I was going for on the pose. Taken aback, writhing, get-that-crap-away-from-me sorta gesture. But it does not look like that.

Second of all, I tried mimicking the coloring style they used in the Sonic screensaver. That same style is also currently being used on the covers of the Sonic Archives graphic novels.

...The coloring looks horrendously different on my laptop from my main PC. Colors were tame when I colored it on my laptop. On my PC monitor, it's like... really, really BRIGHT. I like bright colors, but WOW. Too late to recolor. Meh, I'll live.

Lawl, anatomy. Judging by the muscle tone in the coloring, I guess I know more than I thought I did. Still not accurate in the slightest. I tried to work with perspective, and my knowledge of legs is minimal, obviously.

So, yeah. I don't know how original you'd call this drawing since it's not my facial expression and not my coloring style, but everything else was me, so I guess it still counts on some grounds. ...Luna Porcu is based off of Sonic, though, so I probably lose points for that.

Blah, she's my guinea pig for expressions! I'd work on making her more original in style and design, but it's just easier to draw her in Sonic style. ... I already have worked on it, now that I think about it--I just never post it. I still like Sonic better.

I realized how uncomfortable a shot this must be for Luna Porcu as I was coloring her pants. Nice view of her crotch there. No wonder she's ready to kill people. :V Also, I left out the danglies from her top because I got lazy. Pretend she has 'em as usual.
