NCIS cast

I got so, so bored while laying in bed with the flu, unable to fall asleep or find anything good on TV that I whipped out my laptop, my flashdrive, and "finished up" a half-finished piece of art I scanned in about a month ago.


I've been watching the show casually for years, but it's one of those things that just kind of grows on you the more you watch it. The cast of characters is amazing and their dynamics make the show fun to watch.

Still trying to get better at my human anatomy one step at a time. I'm planning to work my way out of a Super Deformed kind of style and up to normal proportions, but that may take a while. As hard as it is to make two old farts look chibi, I still enjoy the style, for now. It's fun for me.

So... explanation. I shoulda just chosen a scene from an episode and drawn it out, but that's... not as much fun. You can just look up a screencap and get the same gist. I wanted to try to capture their personalities and relationships without any episode in mind in particular. So, from left to right, we have Tony mackin' it up like the pimp he thinks he is, and Ziva (his primary focus) putting him in his place. She's so badass, lol. *envy* Aaand Gibbs, ever so serious and man of little words, he... looks like he's 'bout to pop a cap someone's ass. "Ducky" is in his usual cheery mood and telling one of his bajillion anecdotes. Abby is explaining some cockamamie way she discovered crucial evidence for a case to McGee while he stands there looking as flustered and insecure as always. Ah, McGee. I you.
