Concept sketches for a couple of the suggestions I got for additions to the Opossum team:
Tariq Shazuit the Wolf and Brisley the Numbat. Tariq is a thief and Brisley's a Paladin.
I hope they both look okay. I was going off a description for the first one, and a rough design of the second. There needs to be some tweaking before these turn into actual finished drawings, but I just wanted to get these up before I start working on Commissions.
I'm curious, has the clan established a base of some sort? If not, I have one (fairly large) suggestion that looks a bit ripped from a D&D book, but I come up with strange shit in the late hours.
Imagine if you will, a typical bar. Three floors. One basement floor (locked, store room), One upper floor (private rooms / clan reserved)
The bar has a sign, it reads: "The Dead Horse". The bar's specialties on two of the week days are spicy food made with whole turkey, and every weekend the bar's specialist alchemist somehow manages to craft a small batch of unique booze that may or may not have useful effects (but it certainly gets the masses drunk regardless!).
-- Start Data Block -- All characters at the bar save for Firafon are meant to be as generic as possible, and as such no descriptions are really given aside from randomly made up classes/names/races, and such should not be taken seriously.
Roster: Owner - "Firafon" Halfling^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^HFox Wizard / Cranky ass Bartender) Design notes: He's a goddamn wizard, a gray colored fur with a red robe and white borders along the robe. Wields a ${element_attuned_gem} tipped wand that casts ${related_elemental_spell}. The only patron in the bar eligible for adventuring as everyone else in the bar is too worried about their jobs or dealing with the customers inside to be of much help outside of the bar. (They will help defend inside the bar, in case of trouble.) Firafon is more of a trouble stopper than his consistent sour face belies. His store of nasty damaging spells help reinforce this.
Cooks (Two on staff, One active): Azich (Male L3 Barbarian Bear, specialist in spicy foods), Janin (Male L4 Hunter "Enlarged" Hamster*) *To accommodate the size of the kitchen portions of the bar.
Bouncer (Two on staff, One active): Avira (Male L4 Fighter / L2 Cleric Chameleon), (spot reserved for clan employment)
Brewer/Alchemist (For specialist drinks or R&D into the wide world of exotic booze, usually in the storeroom.): Kelith (Female L5 Sorcerer Duck)
Bartenders (Three on staff, one active): Firafon (See above), Eron (Female L4 Thief Penguin), Frostfon (Male L2 Fighter Fox, adapted from a certain family member)
-- End Data Block --
Craptastic backstory for Firafon and the Bar: "Inherited a nice stipend when his father, one "Targe" was done in by a dragon during some unknown adventure in the middle of ${name_of_nearby_country}. As Targe was never well liked by Firafon, as a final insult, he christened the bar "The Beaten Horse". The "Bartender" is Level 4-ish with one hell of a mean streak, but then most people ask, where does he get the money to fund the bar? Why an occasional adventure or two. (Bullshit about past with clan members goes here.)
The idea is basically the bar ends up as kind of a hidden home base or training ground or something for the clan, at least on the upper levels. Also, clan members would get some sort of tab discount or some shit.
Ooooh I like how you drew herrr! I want to draw her again now :]a Eep I'm sorry I forgot to design armor though! I do like what you put though it reminds me of the WoW sets <3
I feel like uploading a drawing of her today

I'm very happy with the picture myself, for me, there's only a few minor things that could be different, but I love the drawing all the same!
Thanks much! 83
