Seriously, I thought I lost this when my flash drive got stolen/lost over a year ago. Cool.
This is sorta just a cheap-o reason why I started drawing Luna with a different color scheme. The silver/yellow/pink wasn't doing it for me anymore. I want indigo and magenta, darnit. The reasoning? Also a reason to get people off my back for being "conceited." I didn't make Luna a goddess because I thought I was better than people. I did it because I thought Mythology was awesome. So I came up with this de-goddess-ized version of Luna who resembles Zello quite a bit.
Then I tried coloring it and realized Goddess*Luna was colored too dark. Then the file on my flash drive went poof, so I couldn't edit it. I just NOW found it in my main computer's folder resized and ready for uploading. Huh. Oh well, she's still colored too dark.
What is essentially power*drained Luna pretty much became Luna Porcu, so it didn't get too far. Plus, everyone recognizes Luna in her goddess form, so, harking back to my days of "zomg so many people change their avatar, I WILLZ NOT BE LIEK DAT" mentality, I'm leaving Luna as she is.
I haven't uploaded this already, have I? 2007? You'd think I would have or something. I dunno. Hell. It's 4am. I am weird from lack of sleep at the moment.
So um, here. This is what I would've done with Luna Yoshi had I not gotten totally into the Sonic fandom here on DA. Plus I like Luna Porcu's design better. Ungf, arabian dancers.
Both versions of Luna Yoshi are (c) Original yoshi design is (c) Nintendo.
i always really liked Zello, very cute work lulubee <3 i love the way you've shaded luna's skin and i love the contrast in their characters here too :3
Still looks amazing, brilliant and considered well. I always thought the mythology touch made it that much more interesting. And while it is as it shall be, one can say you seem to rock whichever style your doing ^^.
Haha, thanks. I think in my attempts to make her metallic over the years, she's ended up looking like a number of other things instead. XD; Practice, practice.
That, or I wanted a segway/decent explanation as to why I wanted Luna to be indigo blue all of a sudden. :I
anywayz, pretty interesting take on goddess Luna's metallic effect, though to me it kinda looks like she's made of smoke to me. :b
good job with this pic.
